Bottom line
The website is not starving Lincoln. Over the last 12 months Lincoln produced more website leads than Omaha. Since June the two cities are about even, mostly because Omaha improved: Omaha's Google Ads leads rose from about 8 to 13 people a month, while Lincoln's held roughly flat at about 14 to 15.
On the SEO side, Omaha is the market that underperforms. It has more search demand than Lincoln, but BBL gets about half as much Google search traffic there, and the Omaha Google Business Profile is weaker than Lincoln's. That is the opportunity if the goal is more high-net-worth Omaha families.
1Website leads by city
Leads = form submissions + click-to-call taps, by the visitor's city (Google Analytics 4).
Website leads per month, October 2025 to August 2026 (full months only). Hover a month for exact counts.
Show chart data as a table
| Month | Omaha | Lincoln |
|---|
Before vs since June
| Leads per month | Omaha | Lincoln |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 2025 – May 2026 | 7.9 | 17.4 |
| Jun – Sep 2026 | 16.4 | 15.4 |
| Full 12 months (total) | 130 | 200 |
These counts are lead actions, so a person who taps call twice counts twice. The Google Ads table below counts people.
Google Ads, by campaign
BBL runs two campaigns, "Omaha Location" and "Lincoln Location." Counting people who called or submitted a form, per month, before June → since June:
| Campaign | Ad visits / month | Leads (people) / month |
|---|---|---|
| Omaha Location | 426 → 279 | 8.0 → 13.0 |
| Lincoln Location | 343 → 234 | 16.8 → 13.8 |
| Lincoln, excluding the March spike | 14.9 → 13.8 |
- Lincoln's ad leads are roughly flat. Setting aside a one-off March spike (31 people, mostly calls), Lincoln averaged about 15 people a month before June and about 14 since, which is within its normal month-to-month swings.
- Omaha's ad leads rose from about 8 to about 13 people a month. That is most of why the two cities now look even.
- Ad visits dropped by about half in both campaigns starting in August (Omaha about 425 → 200 a month, Lincoln about 345 → 190). Paid visits fell 38% from July to August while all other traffic fell 13%, so this is an ads change, not a tracking problem. Leads held up, so each visit converts better, but it looks like a budget or bidding change worth confirming.
- GA4's ad-spend figures for this account are not usable (they show the same cost every day), so budget has to be confirmed in Google Ads itself.
Google organic (SEO)
Organic lead actions per month rose in both cities: Omaha 0.9 → 3.4, Lincoln 4.1 → 6.0.
2Google search traffic by city
Last 12 months. Search volumes are monthly Google searches made from inside each city.
| Omaha | Lincoln | |
|---|---|---|
| Organic search visits | 602 | 1,269 |
| Organic search leads | 20 | 56 |
| Monthly searches for "assisted living [city]" | 880 | 590 |
| Monthly searches for "senior living [city]" | 320 | 170 |
| Monthly searches for "memory care [city]" | 210 | 140 |
Omaha has roughly 1.5 to 2 times Lincoln's search demand but sends BBL half the organic traffic.
3Google rankings
Checked twice on September 24, 2026, searching from each city; a range means the two checks differed. "Map pack" is the block of three Google Maps listings shown above the regular results.
| Search | Omaha: website / map pack | Lincoln: website / map pack |
|---|---|---|
| senior living consultant | #1 / #1–2 | #1 / #1 |
| assisted living placement | #5 / #2 | #2 / #1 |
| senior living advisor | #7–13 / not shown | not in top 30 / no map pack |
| senior placement [city] | #8 / not shown | #6–8 / #3 |
| senior placement services | #12–14 / not shown | #10–11 / no map pack |
| assisted living [city] | not in top 30 | not in top 30 |
- Lincoln: BBL holds the #1 map spot for "senior living consultant" and "assisted living placement."
- Omaha: the map pack is crowded (Clare Senior Advisors, Oasis Senior Advisors, Family Ties Senior Placement, AdoreMOM, Patron Senior Living), and BBL drops out of it for "senior placement" and "senior living advisor" searches.
- Neither city ranks for the big generic terms ("assisted living [city]"); those go to facilities and directories. That is expected for a placement service, but it is where the Omaha volume is.
4Google Business Profiles
| Omaha profile | Lincoln profile | |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews | 67 (5.0) | 120 (5.0) |
| Categories | Consultant only | Consultant + Assisted living facility + Senior citizen center |
| Photos | 6 | 11 |
| Top competitor in that city | Clare Senior Advisors, 75 reviews | Oasis Senior Advisors Lincoln, 62 reviews |
The Omaha profile has one category, half the photos and about half the reviews of Lincoln's. Categories and reviews are two of the strongest map-pack signals.
5The Omaha page itself
- The page's main heading is "Bridge to Better Living" (same on the Lincoln page), not a phrase Omaha families search, such as "Senior Living Placement in Omaha."
- The structured data (schema) on the Omaha page lists only the Lincoln office address. Google gets no machine-readable confirmation that an Omaha office exists.
- The Omaha page does have more content than Lincoln's (about 1,100 vs 650 words), so content length is not the problem.
Recommendations
In priority order.
- Strengthen the Omaha Google Business Profile SEOAdd relevant secondary categories (match Lincoln's "Senior citizen center"; see the caution below), add 10+ photos of the Omaha office and team, and run a review push with Omaha families to pass 100 reviews.
- Fix the Omaha page's local signals SEOChange the main heading to target Omaha searches ("Senior Living Placement in Omaha" or similar), add LocalBusiness schema with the Omaha address and phone (402-218-5610), and work "assisted living placement in Omaha" and "senior living advisor in Omaha" into the headings and copy. Apply the same heading fix to the Lincoln page.
- Build Omaha content that meets the demand SEOFamilies searching "assisted living Omaha" (880/month) and "memory care Omaha" (210/month) are BBL's audience. An Omaha guide page (neighborhoods, cost ranges, how placement is free to families) with links from the Omaha page and blog can capture that traffic.
What we still need
Notes on the data
- City comes from the visitor's internet connection, so it is approximate. Omaha-area suburbs (Bellevue, Council Bluffs) are counted separately and are not included in the Omaha numbers, so Omaha's true total is somewhat higher.
- Google Ads figures use each campaign's own traffic (not visitor location) and count unique people per month. September 2026 is 23 days, scaled to a month.
- Search volumes are Google Ads monthly averages for searchers located in each city. Rankings are two checks on one day and move daily.
